Dr Tara Tobias I suffered a stroke on 21 Junev2020. I am still using a cane to walk and my arm is moving, however my fingers cannot move. It only moves if I am having a spasm . My Neurologist said that I suffered a bleed of my right brain hence the reason my left side is the weak side. I find that I also have alot of tone on my left leg still. I would like to know ifbthis is normal or If I should have been having less tone in my left leg. Please note that I presently do physical and occupational therapy.
YOUR OPINIONS ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED Dr. TOBIAS!!! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!

Dear Tara, thanks for posting the videos. I am approaching ten months post stroke. I now live alone and I try to use the stroke effected hand as much as possible. For everything. Soon I will start a part time job and might not be able to train for 3 hours a day. But if I continue to use the effected hand in real world applications will that be helpful? Thanks again!
Can we talk about synergy of shoulder and hand during shoulder rotation exercise?

What’s the best way to find a Neurological physical therapist near you?
Doorknobs of locked and dead bolted door make excellent handholds for stationary exercises.
Handicap ramps and shopping cart racks make excellent "gyms" for walking and leg stretching exercises. Handicap ramps usually have stairs nearby as an exercise bonus challenge.
Great videos for every body
I wish I found you during my early years. Thank you so much for your videos
