Express Total Body CHAIR YOGA for Relaxation | Seated Senior Fit Class
This seated chair yoga practice focuses on a whole-body approach to help restore your muscles. After a day of pushing your body, this class will help restore your muscles and prepare them for more activity. At-home brief yoga practices will move your body through different planes and hold to elongate your muscles and help rejuvenate your body so you can stay active. This 24-minute yoga practice is perfect for the senior fit community, as seated chair yoga can be an excellent form of mobility work.
Throughout this seated practice, we go through slow and purposeful spinal arches, twists, and stretches. Take your time with each hold, and work on your breath. Mobility work is excellent for active adults who want to keep moving purposefully. These quick practices can be great when you know you'll be busy for the day or may need a speedy tune-up to help you move better.
This class will help your body move through space more freely and help you confidently perform any activity. All you need for this class is a chair. If you need some water, please have that readily available as well.
