Does this style of walking rely on shoes? Because it starts with heel strike which wrecks the knees whithout thick-soled shoes…
That is correct you use the hamstring to pull/ gain traction when walking …Butttttttttt engaging the glutes is a good idea

Pulling from the front leg and rotating the pelvis is consistent with GOATA Locomotion, which was founded on observation, rather then theories, and I find it to be the most precise gait theory there is.
