This is the secret to healthy walking with low impact on your joints and walking without knee pain. Walking without back pain. Walking without hip pain. If you learn how to walk properly your joints will be preserved until your old age. Walk without leaning forward. Walk without a hard heel strike. Learn how to use your hips when you walk. I will show how to pull with your hip instead of pushing with your hip. When people push, they lean forward when they walk and hit hard on their heel. Walking with a hard heel strike causes knee pain, foot pain, hip pain, and back pain. When you pull when you walk, you will glide and land with a low impact. This creates a walk that is confident and smooth. This will help you walk without developing plantar fasciitis and other health problems. This video will teach you the correct gait pattern. How to walk for men.

Walking can help knee pain. Walking can help knee pain. Walking can help back pain. But you have to walk properly. Do not push with the glutes and lean forward. Learn how to pull forward correctly and land lightly on the heel.

When we walk, we use the upper abdominal muscles, the lower abdominal muscles, and the hip muscles to control the movement. These are the three elements of the core. In this lesson I show how to use the core during the swing through phase of gait.

Does this style of walking rely on shoes? Because it starts with heel strike which wrecks the knees whithout thick-soled shoes…

Pulling from the front leg and rotating the pelvis is consistent with GOATA Locomotion, which was founded on observation, rather then theories, and I find it to be the most precise gait theory there is.

PS: That forward strike walking bullshit needs to stop. Yes Mark, TALKING to YOU now! ๐Ÿคฃ
