Renee Workman says:

Due to a surgical mistake, I had 3 feet of my small bowel removed as it was damaged. In order to repair it, the surgeon had to cut through my abdominal muscles. I try not to lift over 30# but sometimes I have to with my health care job. How can I strengthen these muscles without damaging the bowel resection. If I do too much, the scar tissue swells & causes a blockage.. I have been in the hospital 2 times with IVs & !n NG tube. My bowel resection surgery was in 2016.

These are great exercises but a lot of the planking positions also mess with my impingement in my shoulder. I've also watched impingement videos and so far the hanging method is working very well, but if I go back to doing anything pushing away the shoulder pain comes back… Thanks for the videos!
