Great video. You’re so right, it’s not just about weight loss. And so true that as we get older, losing weight isn’t the same as it was in our 20s. It’s even more compounded if we struggle with moderation and have poor eating habits like late night snacking, emotional eating and self sabotage. Those poor habits are related to weight loss blockers in our subconscious. Once we remove those weight loss blockers we can then easily move back into moderation and listening to our bodies more easily. Thanks for sharing and love how you were able to find a way that worked for you after trying so many different ways. 💕

I’ve been trying to live on a keto diet for a long time now. But, not so long ago have I realized how bad my actual recipes were. I wasn’t anywhere close to getting the daily macros I needed. About 2 months from now, though, I got this free cookbook I found on a video named how i lost 20 pounds by Cooking session with Frank Tremblay and was amazed at how good it is. Like— extremely amazed. With all the recipes included in this book, you most likely won’t ever get bored—and on top of that—you’ll never go hungry anymore. At least that’s how it was for me. But we’re all human beings after all, right? So it should, and I say this without a doubt, work for you as well as it did for me. And, as if this cookbook didn’t have enough positives already, all of this actually makes you lose weight quite fast… and with little to no hunger, as I stated earlier. To give you all an example, I used to feel really insecure about myself; I was overweight, ugly, and I overall just felt awful about both my physique and my mental state. But, after getting this cookbook (and actually following it), both my physique and my mind improved greatly—drastically. And, even though the thought of eating a bunch of healthy meals every day can sound awfully painful, it was actually quite delicious.

I lost weight the same way you did that first 2 weeks you have to really pull up the reigns. I was 152 and 5’4 it was to high and I did the two shock and awe diet none of anyone like. Weight watchers I just new what I was doing was wrong. What was hard is I have seven kids and everything is based around food always having a birthday party Easter holidays everything just was being in the kitchen and I had to fix big meals and try to sit there and not eat as much so I stopped eating while I was preparing supper I stop snacking when I cleaned up the dishes lol it was hard, I cried once ha! Well I stayed 120 to 125 then I
Had a unfortunate rare disorder hit me leaving me partially disabled. I did over do with sugar my husband was so sad for me he would bring cookies cakes ice cream. I couldn’t exercise so 8 years later all of sudden I put my Abercrombies on and didn’t get them past my knees.
I weigh 180 I never weighed that much when I was over do with babies. Listening to you reminded me of the two weeks I’m getting ready to embark on. I can’t exercise walking is very hard,my hopes was once I lose the weight I could walk

I was on a program (just watched the other video) very much like what you’re doing. Dark chocolate- a couple squares were allowed a couple times a week. But real dark chocolate. You look great!

I’m 56. What worked for me was having my hormones balanced with the use of bio identical hormones. I was eating a plant-based diet, and thought I was doing everything right. Then I started counting calories. When you see a portion of food and put the number of how many calories it is next to it… I changed my portion sizes and the weight started coming off. And of course, add in exercise.

Great information! Thank you! I am 46 also, and I do intermittent fasting for maintenance. I lost weight using calorie counting. It is really the only thing that works for me. It doesn't really matter what I eat, as long as the calories fit the bill. I do try to eat healthy, though. I love intermittent fasting for maintenance. It really works. By the way, I live in Nola, too. We are surrounded by food!! It is at every celebration, fest, etc! God bless!

To me, you still looked great. However, it’s so comforting to know that people who are way thinner than me go through the same issues. If I lost maybe 50 lbs, a lot of my clothes would fit lol. Now I’m limited. It’s sucks

I share the same story as you. I'm 47. I stayed at the same weight throughout my adult life until my early 40s. Then, the weight started creeping on and I was finding it harder and harder to find pants that fit. At one point, I needed to use a hair tie to button up my pants. I changed my diet a few months ago and am back to my former weight. Now, I'm just adding more nutritious foods into my diet every day and I pretty much cut the sugar. I eat a dessert about once a week when my family comes over for dinner.
