I have not done a single exercise yet. I am almost 64. I exercised some younger. I have never had to-date serious physical problems and I have no bodyweight problems. My biggest physical problem though since I retired is sedentariness. I googled 'home training for seniors' which was not bad but I realised I needed to add, 'by seniors'. Now while these exercises may look tame for someone who used to train with weights back in the day, I find that they are just about perfect for me at my age. My sense tells me that exercising is not about trying to look like Terminator but to wade in slowly, execute slowly, proceed with care and caution because nowadays my body will surely snap and complain were I to push it. This is about investing in my physical health for the long term. So it ain't about trying to impress anybody at a gym. And this is about wanting to do it enough to keep at it not just for a week or two. It also provides distraction from my daily research and writing routine. This instructor sure knows what he is doing. Great content. Lovely approach. Great voice. No frills and gimmicks. Just solid good sense delivered as we seniors like it: With competence and ease and of course an element of wit 🙂 God bless.

Greetings from Dublin Ireland. This is a wonderful exercise sitting in the chair, I had heart failure a year ago and while the exercise looks easy for me it’s not I managed five minutes this morning and five minutes later in the morning I have a very good feeling about this exercise seated marching exercise.
