Thank you. I have had several bad accidents followed by several, heart attacks, heart failures, and strokes. And am now I am very paralytic from it all. So, I very much needed a very basic starting point to start rehabilitating myself again. And, this is perfect. Thank you! 🕉️☸️☯️⛩️✝️✡️☪️🙏
Thanks broke my foot, so just what I needed🙏♥️
Thank you, Adriene, for creating space for those of us who are injured or physically challenged!!! I have a broken foot and these simple upper body stretches felt wonderful!!!! 👍🏽💪🏽
Thank you!!! 2 of my younger sisters (now 38 and 41) have been using and loving and praising Yoga with Adriene for years! I am older (now 53 and not dead yet) and have been disabled for a while now. I've never been in great shape since I was in my early 20s and only meet the floor by accident (quite rarely) and didn't find anything at the time that I knew how to adapt to my current level of flex and function.
5his week my youngest sister came to town and listening to the two of them talk about going to gym classes and still doing YwA, and watching my 41yo mother of 4 sister demonstrate what a "boat" pose is 9n the floor and then just hold it and show variations I was so moved at how strong they are and was wishing i could even start somewhere small. This morning I decided idea to search again and this came up! IT WAS PERFECT! I'm not in a wheelchair but do still have limited mobility and while the eagle hands are the hardest for now (I did them with barely a wrist to elbow) you are so accepting and encouraging that it didn't make me upset or want to give up but I was able to take it as it's just where I am for now, and that as I do 6his more it will improve , and it IS something I can do! I am going to do this every day for the next 30 days and then take things from there. Those last few breathes were tricky because I was crying with new found hope and relief by then!
Again, Thank you and Namaste!
Thank you so much for making this video! I keep coming back to it and really appreciate that you have more accessible practices like these for wheelchair and chronic pain/illness <3
My 157th YWA on April 28th 2022 <3.
today’s practice done on:
* 4/29/22: this was a nice way to get centered on this sunny morning before working out, refresh day 28 🌸
🙏❤️🙏
Good short one after the flight home…. ….Thoughts to those O&G workers that lost their lives in 2022 energizing people's lives…..April 28, 2022 Day of Mourning….
Tonight I celebrate 4 years practicing with Adriene, never missing a day. Thank you Adriene 🧘🏼♀️
Refresh day 28, day 37 for me 💗
I enjoyed this practice today that reminds us that there is always a way to find what feels good, no matter our abilities on any given day. Thank you for always giving us options Adriene. Refresh Day 28!
Refresh Day 28: I love inclusive practices, we even got some movements we don’t typically see day to day in these calendars. Thanks!
I've been following the April '22 calendar verbatim- and it's been eerie, how often the daily practice provides what I didn't realize I needed. Today I'm sick w/ a low fever… thought I would have to break my months-long yoga streak- then saw this brief, accessible yoga practice on my calendar, and felt humbled and grateful. Felt like I was actually helping my recovery, rather than stubbornly pushing through something that would elongate it. Thank you!
This gentle practice was perfect for before bed!!
REFRESH day 28.
With this months chair practices I have really experienced something new. I love it! Especially great when I'm really tired or my body just says NO to standing. Namaste everyone 🙂
Here on Refresh Day 28/04/2022🍀🌸🧘🏾♀️🧘🏾♀️🍀🌸 I simply love how so inclusive you are Adrienne. Ensuring everyone is able to do Yoga. I love you Adrienne 💝🤗🤗💝😘😘.
Namaste all🙏🏾❤️❤️ and see you all 2moro.
REFRESH 💦 | April 28, 2022 | I swapped this practice for day 22 of Refresh when I had to travel and didn't have time for the lengthier Respect and Replenish practice. It was the perfect practice to prepare for a day of air travel with some great arm and shoulder stretches.
So today on day 28 and went back and completed day 22 for some serious heat! Refresh has been so slow and gentle that I can really feel it when Adriene cranks it up a notch or two. I took this practice outside as well as we're finally having a beautiful, warm spring day, but the combination of the sun baking down and the slippery mat because of it, definitely upped the heat and made my feet cramp a bit. But I stretched them out after and now I feel great!
Day 28 of April ❤️🙏🏼 day 423
Refresh, day 28. April 2022. What a lovely practice. I fractured my shoulder a year ago and still don’t have full range of motion. This was just perfect for me after a long day at the desk.
