I got this pain from sitting in a wheel chair because of a broken ankle and Tibia fracture. I suspected the pain was caused from the hunched over posture I was sitting in in the wheel chair. I started using the excercises I can do while still sitting and also stopped sitting in the wheel chair all the time and things have improved tremendously. Thank you.

I squeezed my shoulder blades together, and the worst, 10/10 ripping pain shot through my back, and I haven't slept in 3 days now. I didn't do it as shown.. but I'm in very bad shape at the moment and can't move hardly, can't work, and I sleep 2 hours a night at the moment, waking up abruptly in a ball of sweat at 3am then cannot go back to sleep due to the pain. I'd rather break ribs again than what I'm going through.. not sure if this is just a pinched nerve.

Careful with the "camel/cat" stretch, I did it and it caused even more pain and made it worse.

I have had intense pain off and on for years, in my shoulder blade. Right along the length of the blade, and straight through to the front of my chest, near my collarbone. I've tried massaging but I can still feel the pain inside my body, where I can't reach, between back and chest. Sometimes it's a burning pain, sometimes it's intense like my shoulder will fall off, sometimes it's just there in the background for days, and sometimes it's more like a spasm and it hurts every time I breathe in, especially with deep breaths. Sometimes it hurts up the left side of my neck a little, and down my left arm a bit. The PT exercises I did didn't really help, massaging didn't really help, lying on a tennis ball to work out knots didn't help. When it's really bad, icy hot helps me fall asleep. Any idea what it is, and would these exercises help?
During the beginning of the pandemic I spent alot of time working from my couch, but I actually didn't have any pain during that time at all, which is what makes me confused that maybe it's not due to posture after all? Then once I started working from my desk, with an ergonomic chair, and was given more work to do than previously, the pain has started coming back again.
