For 45+ CrossFit guys is it better to do 3-4 hard and have complete rest days in between or say 5 days of classic 1hr class with strength, skill and WOD or some other combo? And where do you train? Thanks bro, 🇲🇾 subscriber here, i was born in 1989, i'm 5ft 10 in, and i'm quite relatively young in this crossfit sport. I never join sport in my younger life, so i decided to join this crossfit and see how it goes. After a year, i suddenly got wrist pain, joint problem, and shin split. Due to the fact that the WOD is very intense, my muscles overwork and mostly i'm tired. I'm sure you've been there as well. After that i learnt about Nutrition, getting enough sleep one of the main component to be perform better and consistent in Crossfit sport.

Apart from that, i look into various resources to learn more about technique, and i realized that with my height so tall and i got difficulty in weightlifting. So i learn to change the technique. I learnt that tall people need to train twice as harder than shorter people. I subscribed your channel because you inspire me to believe in ourselves that we can do it. With your age above 40, really inspire and motivate me to work harder.

I look back at when i started my crossfit journey, i just signed up crossfit member without thinking twice of the potential injury, now its like a journey to self discovery. Moreover, i keep learning more about the technique, nutrition, muscle anatomy, doing recovery, its so many i can't list out of them 😂. The more i read and learnt, the more i dont know about it and i just keep continue to learn. Its very intimidating and i like to explore and keep breaking my limits.

I really valued my knowledge, my investment, and my time in doing crossfit and i will keep doing it. I believe i can reach my ultimate peak of fitness in near future.

Thank you for explaining about body weight movements I learn that recovery and sleep is the key for me when it comes to going CF classes I have an old back injury doing deadlifts I made sure from now on I have the app to track on my progression weights on btwb. All the exercises you explained especially with conditioning body weight movements help with progressively.
I wish CF class told me to start from the beginning I recall being overwhelmed my first week of classes. I’m 5 months in I have a whole different perspective make the body weight workouts super challenging but works for me. Being healthy and fit is a lifestyle something I truly love and enjoy especially with CF.
