I just had a diagnose for piriformis syndrome, and my sciatica nerve probably goes throuhg my pirifomis muscle. I have been doing Adriene’s yoga for about three months every day (former couch potatoe) but now after a trip, my back got so bad I haven’t been able to do any yoga. 🙁 If possible I’d love some tips for this syndrome and how to get back to my yoga with Adriene.

Thank you doesn't begin to say the gratitude for these videos. I recommend your sciatica & back videos to anyone with back pain. In 2021 we took a 12 hour river kayak trip. (I was not in shape for this maiden voyage) My back revolted 2 days later with severe spasm and pain. My leg even jerked in spasm. I missed several days of work with what I called screaming muscle spasms. The pain was incredible and I have a very high pain threshold. Your videos, deep tissue massage, tens unit and medication all in concert got me out of that crisis. I still use these videos to maintain back health. Thank you so much!

Why are there no Benji T shirts for adults??? I love Benji!

Kilian Lilienfeld says:

thanks for the session! two questions:
– I can never quite grasp what "hug the lower ribs in" means movement-wise…do I just "push" them down towards the spine?
– Doing "cow legs", so far I cant reach my feet with my hands. So I do it freefloating, which is crazy intense on my abs after a bit, not to say it doesn't feel strengthenin an nice! but is cow legs laying on the back actually supposed to be an exercise of strength or rather of stretching and relaxation? if this is possible to say in those simple terms 🙂

thx for any feedback!:-*

Doing these movements did more for me than pain medication, physical therapy, epidural injections, and anything else ever did. After doing these movements daily for a month, I had nearly all of my previous range of movement with little to no pain. This was after almost a year and a half of pain and misery. This video is absolutely PRICELESS and I thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Karin Lowenthal says:

Val Bodden says:

Felt sciatic pain all the way down my right leg for the first time a few, days ago. Usually it's just a stabbing pain in my right cheek now and again. Hoping this yoga session will help reduce the pain. Love my yoga with Adriene workouts. ❤️

Mollie Watkinson says:

Cinnamon Brunmier-Keller says:

Tonite my sciatica was so painful, I couldn't even walk or sit or lie down. I actually started to have a panic attack because I couldn't think of what to do. And then I remembered YWA and how Adriene has helped me when I was suffering from so many other ailments. I was sobbing when I put this video on…thankfully, the deep yoga breathing worked to soothe the sobs, as well. I was in so much pain, at first, it was difficult to even lie on the mat. But, I did the poses as best I could. And kept breathing…listening to Adriene's calming voice. By the end, my pain had subsided. I am truly so so grateful for this practice and for Adriene. 🙏🏻

Debby Ng says:

Omg. Supine gomu was a REVELATION. So yummy. How is it I never met this pose in 13 years of practice? Thank you, Adriene!
