Here are the links to the stretches I talk about in the video Thoracic rotation in sitting https://youtu.be/7qMzxiP9Duk Thoracic rotation sidelying https://youtu.be/DJNpmN4NHcU Thoracic side-bending (stretching of quadratus lumborum) https://youtu.be/fbzub0TODBw Thoracic extension with foam roller https://youtu.be/uVGSXo5lAPs Good luck! As a Physical Therapist who is now 50, I understand what it takes to stay active, healthy, and as pain-free as I can. Join Elizabeth and me at https://livewell50.com/ to Age Strong with us! I do this series of stretches myself to keep me active and on the basketball court.
We only go as far as our thoracic spine takes us. Higher level, dynamic activities require our spine to flex, rotate, extend, and side-bend in many different directions. Most this will come from our thoracic spine due to the unique anatomy of the rib cage. Learn how to keep yourself flexible and “in the game”.

Yes! Such a great video! I don't think most people realize the importance of keeping our spines supple. I always like to say that we only get "old" when our spine gets stiff. Thanks for sharing!
