FALSE FALSE FALSE!! I STRUGGLED WITH KNEE PAIN FOR ABOUT 5 YEARS. THE DOCTORS TOLD ME IT WAS KNEE TENDINITIS. THEY TOLD ME TO DO ALL THE EXERCISES THAT THIS VIDEO RECOMMENDS. THESE EXERCISES DO NOT HELP. THEY MAKE THE PAIN WORSE. YEAH IT MIGH HELP IN THE MOMENT BUT THE PAIN IS STILL THERE. SO I DECIDED TO DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT. LEG PRESS MACHINE!! THIS WORKS WONDERS. AFTER JUST ONE DAY OF THIS EXERCISE MY LEG NO LONGER HURTS. I CAN RUN, JUMP, HOP, SKIP AND WALK PAIN FREE.

Thanks for this, very helpful. I've always assumed my issue was meniscus wear. The worst I've had is the last time I tried to do high weight leg extensions after not doing them for a year, I got pain during the exercise itself which I figured was the knee grating the meniscus tissue. I've not tried any since. I run a lot and occasionally get the pain when stepping up big steps on mountain paths etc.

Qcumber says:

Do i do these exercises to regain strength after my knees are ok again, or is this a way of curing the injury?
My physiotherapist told me to jsut do nothing and let it rest, so i dont know if I should do these exercises or not.
Im 15 years old so I have time to fix it, but it is still a really big problem, since i usually practiced martial arts for 3-4 times a week and now I can only do non-leg exercises in the gym.
If someone knows the answer to my first question i would love to know.

thanks bro!

Why do you say that if you're goal is to lift weights that you shouldn't do stages 2 or 3?

Amanda Cook says:

sat in awe for the first few minutes as you explained exactly what I can't get across to doctors. I went to a knee specialist and he said it was tendonitis and to keep talking a bunch of ibuprofen and static stretching. I knew it was something more and I'm so glad I found this video.

Mariusz Woodley says:

I tried the shockwave with needles and my knee hasn't changed

All normal movements and activities will never harm your muscles, tendon or ligaments ,common sense stuff. Unpreparedness for sudden overload or overwork, lack of oxygen, water and minimum supply of proper nutritien. Prevention through regular, consistent and gradual progression of smart exercises for all , not suchlike of the perverted science of coronafauci , coronabillgates or coronaWHO !.

Very good info. Thanks. I am a marathon runner. I have/had knee pain problem, but would say 90% healed. It is almost 13 months now. I have been increasing training intensity slowly every second. At the moment it feels like it is getting better every run, especially long runs.

Some great info here thanks

Mitchell Murrin says:

I had really bad pain in this area from running (downhill especially), and I found shortening my strides did the trick. Although I still get some pain occasionally, it's manageable.

If people like u would be in Poland,i couldt train on gym ::(

J says:

So patellar tendinopathy is never ending? Never ending, when you keep adding load (progressing) while not doing additional exercises to strengthen the patellar tendon. Patellar tendinopathy will always come back? Really good video overall. Thought weight was also an issue cause of heavier 'load'. Will try to implement some of these exercises as a warm up.

This guy is damn good. My knee way better just from watching this. Im fr. Thanks

I was a student athlete and when I was 13/14 and going through a growth spurt I jumped down some stairs and felt one of the worse pains ever in my knee. I couldn't bend my knee more than a few degrees. A few months later when it's better I was running 100m and pulled it again in the warmup. It seems to have got better with age but if I run up the stairs 15+ years later I can still feel an 'electric shock' occationally under my knee cap
